The functions available for pages are, therefore, very different from those for groups. If you are undecided about whether to open a Facebook page or a group, you must therefore think about what you want to do on Facebook. If you have a company, for example, you must definitely open a Facebook page. If, on the other hand, you want to bring together several people to organize five-a-side football matches, you should create a group.

However, the two tools can be used both. It is an interesting alternative when it comes to marketing campaigns on Facebook. For example, it is possible to create groups whose main topic is your brand. A community of fans, but also a group on a specific product or to complete the promotion of an event.
